Family Transcends News

Family Transcends is a nonprofit organization that partners at-risk transgender youth (up to age 21) with adult mentors, utilizing a big sibling/little sibling type framework for successful connections. The sole goal is to reduce transgender youth suicide by offering one-on-one support and mentoring.

As the Vice President of Media Management, I’ll be bringing you community news, various op/ed articles and blog entries from many people in our community and our organization, as well as transgender awareness pieces for public education and visibility.
